Compare contrast of Sarah Bisop and Maximum Ride (revised)

            Imagine being a mutant with wings taking care of four others then dumped on the responsibility of saving the world from global warming and evil scientists. How about maybe being a teenage girl in the seventeenth century being forced to live in a cave because you don’t have a place to go and all of your family is dead. In two books, Maximum Ride and Sarah Bishop, the main characters have to solve problems on their own.

           

Sarah Bishop takes place in the seventeenth century around the seaside colonies. Her brother is kidnapped and she has to hind him and finds out he is dead and is now alone. Sarah is accused of burning down a prison and runs away to the north to escape being captured by the British. When she reaches the north she finds a cave and lives there.every day to Sarah is one big problem like how is she going to stay warm, who is she going to get food what i get hurt and get a infection what if someone comes looking for me.

Maximum Ride takes place in the present. Max the main character is a teenage girl who is a mutant bird human who has to save the world. Max is also alone except for her flock she also never met her parents. Around every corner theirs problems like finding escape routs, defeating enemies, how to deal with her flock member Angel, where are they going to sleep, evil scientists, and global warming.

The differences between Maximum Ride and Sarah Bishop are the genres. Maximum ride is science fiction and Sarah Bishop is historical fiction. Maximum ride is about mutants and how they have to save the world and Sarah Bishop is about a girl who struggles to survive in the wilderness after she loses everyone she knows to the revolutionary war.

Both Max and Sarah have many problems to deal with  but somehow they make do and and live on for another day.

Sarah Bishop main conflics

In the book Sarah Bishop Sarah is forced to live in a cave. she was forced to live in the cave because of one: her father was killed. two: her house was burned down. and three the British is after her for doing a crime that she didn't do when she is trying to find her brother. Sarah finds where her brother is being held but he isn't there he was killed. Sarah has nothing to go back to and the British are hunting her down and is forced to live in a cave.

Alex and the city

Once in a big city there was a lost kindergartener named Alex. One day he wondered out of class and eventfully found himself in the big city. Alex liked it in the city but then Alex got tired and staggered into a park. In the park Alex found a tree to take a nap. Alex sat down and closed his eyes only for a second when he woke up and it was almost night time. Alex was scared and cold he wanted to go home so Alex started running back to school. Alex got tired fast he then started to walk and look for it but every corner he turned he either got more lost or he hit a dead end. Was confused and at this point as scared as he has ever been. Then a woman wearing fur from head to toe walked up to Alex and asked him if he was lost. Alex didn’t know what to say so he ran and then tripped when Alex fell down he rolled into a open man whole. Alex fell and fell until he hit the icy water. Alex struggled to swim but kept getting pushed down by the fast current eventually pushed him under all the way. Under the water Alex tried to hold his breath log enough but he couldn’t last that long. Alex then passed out when he was out cold he heard a voice the voice kept saying his name over and over again Alex went towards the voice. When he got there he was back at school with his mom standing over his waiting for him to wake up. Alex didn’t know what happened but he didn’t care he was just happy to be back with his mom.

The Outsiders

What if you were a greaser with suicidal tenancies, been in jail a ton of times and has a shield around his feelings. Maybe one who is abused by his parents others and also treated as a pet to your friends.

            Dallas “Dally” Winston a rough kid who always gets in trouble. Dally is from New York City where he would run with all the gangs and get in trouble with the cops. Dally always in trouble with the cops; whenever something happens on their side of town he cops always go to dally. Dally’s parents don’t care about him or even what happens to him in the book dally is also the toughest and one of the oldest of  pony boy’s gang and if he has something to say about anything he speaks his mind and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him. But Dally also has somewhat of a soft side when Dally comes to see Pony boy and Johnny Dally says” Johnny, I aint mad at you. I just don’t want you to get hurt. You don’t know what a few months in jail can do to you. Oh, blast It, Johnny you get hardened in jail. I didn’t want that to happen to you like it did to me…”.Dally dies in the end of the book after Johnny dies and then the police shoot at him till he dies 

            Johnny Cade is a quiet scared boy who keeps his mouth shut at any sign of danger. His parents are abusive and beat him and earlier in the book he is severally beaten the soc’s. Since he is beaten up so much his gang treats him as the pet. Later on in the book he runs away with Pony boy and they stop at the park and some soc’s come and try to beat them up and while Pony boy is being drowned Johnny kills one of them. Also later on he becomes a hero by saving a bunch of kids from a church that was on fire but gets crushed by one of the beams and breaks his back but he eventually Johnny also dies.

            The things that these two people have in common are that they are both in the same gang. They both die in the end of the book but in different ways. They both care about each other but only Dally shows it in the book.

            They both look and sound different and they were but they were and still are friends to the end.

Nothing Gold Can Stay

"Nothing gold can stay" this a quote by Robert Frost.In the Outsiders that could mean that youth and innocents  didn't last for any of them and that they had to grow up.


Authors Note- this piece is about how nothing good can stay. i want you guys to tell me what i can do to make this better and what i can add.

Outsiders Conflict

The police is not fair to the greasers because they believe that they are all bad especially Dally. Every time something bad happens in their side the first one that they go to is Dally.

Johnny

johnny is a scared boy who gets beaten by his parents and is treated as the dog in the gang he is in. He is misjudged by the gang because of how often he get beaten up especially the sco's.over all Johnny is a good person because he has Poneys back and he doesn't complain about how often he gets beaten up.

Are you proud of your country

I am not proud of my country because i don't understand why America is called a free country. America is not a free country because it has rules and regulations. if it was a free county i would not have to go to school and i could also do what ever i wanted to do. also why are their so many rules you cant do any thing without getting in trouble.

Tell-tale heart

In the tell-tale heart the narrator is degusted by an old man’s eye. He goes crazy about it and decides to kill him.

I believe that the narrator is insane because the narrator started to go crazy over an old man’s eye. The narrator plotted out a plane to kill the old man. He planed every thing that my happen and had a backup plane for every little thing that my go wrong. Over a period of time the narrator would sneak into the old man’s house and would spent many hours just trying to open the old man’s door and he did that for several days and he would just stand there looking at him. Which is pretty creepy? And there are still more things that he did. He eventually killed him after the old woke up when a beam of light hit the old man’s eye. The narrator closed the lamp and hid in the darkness then he crawled up to his bed and fold it over the old man until he died the narrator dragged the old man into the bath tub and chopped him up then hid the parts under the floor. He let in the police like nothing ever happened and went on with his life.

The narrator freaked out over a guys eye and killed him. So I think he is super crazy.

A.C. and the Dragon

Once upon a time in a village engulfed in forest and winter that village called Washboard in that vilage there was an awesomely awesome man named A.C. he is 16 and has the best set of washboard abs.one day after toning his abs A.C. went outside to cool off in the cold snow when a giant purple fire breathing dragon came out of nowhere. A.C. saw the dragon and started running but the dragon kept following him then it disappeared and A.C. looked around and he sighed in relief but then the dragon dropped out of the sky and lit his close on fire with it breath. The dragon looked down to see A.C. on fire but he wasn’t then the dragon said “wow this situation never happened before” then A.C. said “hears a situation” and started pointing at his abs. The dragon was so amazed with his abs they became friend and had magical adventures together. But after a while A.C. and the dragon moved away to the Jersey Shore and auditioned for the show the Jersey Shore but didn’t get the part and now every time that they film A.C. and the dragon dance in the background yelling stuff but you can’t hear them because Mike keeps yelling hears a situation every time someone says situation and points at random things.

Dear Casey,

 Why did you struck out. The first pitch you just stood there and let the ball fly right past you and all cocky you said “that ain’t my style” and you caused the first strike out. I was really mad at the umpire for striking you out and I shouted "Kill him! Kill the umpire!” Right before the second pitch you signaled the pitcher to continue. Then the pitcher yelled strike two and everyone yelled fraud because we thought that the pitcher was cheating. When we stopped yelling we all looked at you to see what you do next but it looked like you were nervous, mad and determined that you would hit the next ball. All of we focused back on you and then the pitcher through the ball and during the time it took for the ball to reach you it was utter silence then you swung and then it flew past you and you were out. Everyone at the end of the game was either happy that their team won or sad and angry that you struck out.
